It is sad to see September leave us. It was such a great month! The peaches were fantastic from beginning to end. The farmers market have been bustling.
Last year, October was a downer. We keep a log of each market from year to year. We record what produce we took, what our sales were, and what the weather was like. Last year, there are very few days with “beautiful weather” comments. They were more like “Rain. Rain. Go away.” And “Worst. Week. EVER.” when we had a tornado watch.
This week as we welcome October 2015, isn’t looking much different. We’ve had a lot of rain, and they are calling for much more.
Usually when I write in the newsletter how great the weather is, I jinx the weather, and the forecast goes south. So here’s to superstition, and with the hopes that the weather for October turns out to be sunny and beautiful!
