Sometimes we have to make the hard decision to leave a farmers market. We don’t take the decision lightly, because we’ve grown to love the customers who shop with us each week. But when evaluating our market schedule from a business standpoint, there are times when we realize that we don’t have the capacity to continue to serve a market.
So we were pretty sad to make the decision not to return to the Glover Park market this year. We’ve come to the conclusion that the market can realistically only financially support one fruit vendor, and Spring Valley has attended the market since its early stages.
