It’s finally strawberry season at Kuhn Orchards! We’re harvesting daily and the berries look, smell, and taste great! It’s time to whip up all of your favorite strawberry desserts, hull & freeze some berries to throw in smoothies later in the season, and make up some strawberry jam (or you can just purchase some of ours at market).
Sandra likes to slice strawberries and mix them into a bowl of sour cream and sugar.
Lindsey enjoys eating them fresh and making jam so she can enjoy them all year long. I wonder if Lindsey will be making strawberry jam this year?? She’s getting married in two weeks and I’m sure she has her plate full!
Christine likes to cut up fresh strawberries and eat them on her Cheerios in the morning.
And Kat enjoys eating strawberries FRESH!

Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce (excellent on ice cream or pound cake)
Its also pretty trendy to make fruit and herb ice cubes. Strawberry and mint are delicious together. Or you can always slice up some strawberries, add them to your water bottle. Shake the bottle to macerate the berries a little and add a some sweetness to your drink. Plus you get a little treat at the end!
